Hail and wind, honestly assessed
Storm Damage Roof Repair in Avondale Estates
Find out what the storm actually did, from someone with no reason to exaggerate it.
Separating Real Storm Damage From Sales Talk
After a big storm, door knockers show up, and some of them will find damage on any roof they climb. That is not how we work. Our job is to report what is really there. Sometimes that is a lot. Sometimes it is nothing. Genuine hail damage looks like round, darkened spots stripped of granules, often soft when pressed, sometimes with a fractured mat beneath. Genuine wind damage shows up as shingles that lifted, broke their adhesive bond and either tore away or folded back with a crease. Fair warning: granules alone in the gutter prove nothing, since aging shingles shed them too. So we check carefully. Each slope is walked. Strikes are tallied inside chalked squares. Edges along the rakes and ridge are lifted gently to test the bond. Soft metal like vent caps and downspouts gets examined, because dents there tell us how large the hail was. All of it is photographed. Limited damage gets repaired with matched shingles. Widespread damage may justify replacement, and if you choose to open a claim, the evidence is ready. Fallen limbs are less frequent, but the big oaks around Avondale Estates do drop them, and the plywood under any impact gets checked as well.

After the Storm, Step by Step
Pick a time
Give us the storm date and anything odd you spotted. A daylight visit goes on the calendar.
See the evidence
We walk the roof, photograph what we find and show you, including when the news is good.
Fix what is real
Minor damage is repaired. Extensive damage gets a replacement price and, if you open a claim, documentation to match.

We tell you which is which.

Not Sure the Storm Did Anything?
That is a fair question, and we will give you a fair answer, with photos either way.
