Roof Repair in Avondale Estates

If a fix will genuinely solve the problem, that is what we recommend, and that is what we do.

When a Fix Is Honestly Enough

A leak is not automatically a new-roof problem, and you should be wary of anyone who leaps straight there. Plenty of leaks trace back to one modest, fixable cause. A rubber collar split by years of sun. Dormer flashing that has worked loose, very common on the steep rooflines here. A few shingles yanked up by wind. With the rest of the roof healthy, mending that one spot is the right call. The skill lies in locating where water truly enters, since water wanders. It can slip in near the peak, ride a rafter and surface as a stain far from where it started. So when we can get into the attic, that is where tracing begins, and the roof itself confirms the culprit before anything gets touched. Then the fix: a new collar, resecured or renewed flashing, or matched shingles sealed tight. We photograph the cause and the cure. And the other half of honesty: if shingles are brittle, bald across wide areas or damaged on several faces, mending one spot only postpones the inevitable. In that case you get the tradeoff laid out plainly and choose your own timing for a replacement. Either way, you hear the truth.
